Releases for January 2008

16th February, 2008

Ernesto vs. Bastian - Thrill

Label: High Contrast Recordings
Released: 25th January, 2008

Ernesto vs. Bastian's first offering in 2008 is an electro-tech-mayhem. "Thrill" by Ernesto vs. Bastian also is 2008's Trance Energy Anthem. The anthem holds jungle-cooing, massive leads, multiple breakdowns with smooth violin work and great acidic synths. Not to forget the reverberating tech sounds that will drastically put you in an untamed state of euphoria.

Rex Mundi - Sunrise In Ibiza

Label: Cyber Records
Released: 23rd January, 2008

Rex Mundi goes from hard to chill as he engulfs us in the melodic charm of "Sunrise In Ibiza". Beautiful piano riffs with synthwork that sparkle in beauty of the island. The groovy bass line really makes the floor move.

Rex Mundi vs. Ronski Speed - The Perspective Space [Markus Schulz Mashup]

Label: Coldharbour Recordings
Released: 23rd January, 2008

A mashup by Coldharbour legend Markus Schulz who aggressively mixes two of last year’s hot tunes into a massive track. The output is certainly dance floor euphoria.

Ferry Corsten featuring Howard Jones - Into The Dark [Ferry Fix]

Label: Flashover Recordings
Released: 21st January, 2008

Ferry's latest single from his hit album last year 'L.E.F.' finally gets its own single release. We all have heard the Album Version; but the one to watch out for here is the 'Ferry Fix' version. With layering synonymous to "Beautiful", this one is a very nicely done remix of the original which was not really meant for the dance floors. This one however, is set to rock stadiums as well!

Jose Amnesia featuring Jennifer Rene - Invincible [Sid Van Riel Remix]

Label: Armind
Released: 15th January, 2008

Beautiful vocals of Trance Hub's featured vocalist Jennifer Rene fuse with the beats of Jose Amnesia. The Sid Van Riel Mix has been overplayed in almost all the radio shows out there and has been featured in innumerable compilations as well. The less famous Original Mix however is the better of the two. Do I sense Karen Overton's "Your Loving Arms" here?

Andy Duguid featuring Leah - Don't Belong [Original Mix]

Label: Black Hole Recordings
Released: 15th January, 2008

A very angelic piece of work by rising star Andy Duguid instantly sets the mood for anything pleasurable. Leah (real name Gita Bakradze) performs the vox and is equally responsible for us falling in love with the tune. Black Hole never goes wrong, does it?

Lemon & Einar K - Anticipation [Original Mix]

Label: Flashover Recordings
Released: 14th January, 2008

The beautifully worked-on-tune marked a great beginning of 2008. Norwegian duo Lemon & Einar K set up the tune initially with hard beats and a fat electronic bassline. Solacing female vocals get acquainted with heavenly pad work and a sweet melody. At 3:16 minute, the larger-than-life breakdown lifts the mood up. That's not it, the second breakdown feels even well – a unique uplifting beauty.

Markus Schulz featuring Departure - Cause You Know [Nic Chagall Remix]

Label: Coldharbour Recordings
Released: 11th January, 2008

"Cause You Know" is possibly one of the best works in Markus' album 'Progression'. Trance Hub personally loved the original and so did the trancers world over. Six months passed and we have the great Nic Chagall with a smashing remake which does wonders on the dance floor for sure!

Lens - Beyond The Shadows [Moonbeam Remix]

Label: Coldharbour Recordings
Released: 7th January, 2008

Dark and progressive are the words that instantly come to your mind when you are embraced by the atmosphere of "Beyond The Shadows". A rich and heavy bass line carries the track to a moment of raptus in isolation. Guaranteed to bring down the sound system!
