By the time the announcement ends in Intro - The Seven Deadly Sins And The Seven Heavenly Virtues, a receptive atmosphere to hear the tune surfaces and we hear the first track Deadmau5 - Faxing Berlin blended in with the vocals of Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Light The Skies [Retrobyte's Classic Electrobounce Mix]. The sublimed beats of "Faxing Berlin" is perfectly topped with Jaren's vocals expelling a blissful collaboration. The smooth bassline of Marscruiser featuring Kendra Foster - Not Alone Tonight [Blake Jarrell Club Mix] can be audibly sensed and is exactly lifted where Kendra's vocals seem to have an aroused edge and not to forget Blake Jarrell's amazing remix.

Michael Cassette - David probably has the shortest share of it's offering, but is a well deserved ASOTYM tune-runner. Jose Amnesia featuring Jennifer Rene - Invincible [Sied Van Riel Remix] is blatantly introduced next, an addition on the ongoing intense set of vocal trancers with a placid flow! The breakdown of Dash Berlin - The Sky Falls Down [Dub Mix] finally provides a momentary break from the vocal rush. The beats of Jose Amnesia featuring Jennifer Rene - Wouldn't Change A Thing get rooted from Dash Berlin and end with Armin van Buuren - The Sound Of Goodbye [Simon & Shaker Mix], a calm transition of two massive vocal trancers which Armin blows in CD-1. One can rarely feel Sunlounger - Another Day On The Terrace until the massive First State vs. Anita Kelsey - Falling treats your ears. The mixing is conventionally done till this point. He introduces Jennifer again in Jonas Steur featuring Jennifer Rene - Fall To Pieces. He bombs yet another vocal Kirsty Hawkshaw meets Tenishia - Reasons To Forgive [The Blizzard Remix] after pitching off from "Fall To Pieces", hard to fathom the stance between the two tracks. Blizzard is consecutively repeated in Envio - For You [The Blizzard Remix], both tracks "Reasons To Forgive" and "For You" seem to be charged with same digital melody that Blizzard is known to produce, hence the progression feels very flat. Further, the tracks are lined up with simple yet catchy remixing Headstrong featuring Tiff Lacey - The Truth [David West Progressive Mix], Marcus Schössow - Mr. White, Roland Klinkenberg - Mexico Can Wait, Super8 & Tab - Needs To Feel [Wippenberg Remix], Chris Lake featuring Emma Hewitt - Carry Me Away, Dubfire - Roadkill [EDX's Acapulco At Night Remix], little traces of Julian Jeweil - Conditionné can be felt until the music flies you to the synth rich Hybrid - Finished Symphony [Deadmau5 Remix]. The mixing paces on to The Blizzard - Kalopsia which is brilliantly intermixed with Markus Schulz vs. Chakra - I Am, the breaks merged up with Kalopsia's nestling vocals, simply brilliant. Departure's voice emerges from the Markus Schulz featuring Departure - Cause You Know [Nic Chagall Remix], Mungo - Summer Blush, had to be a strong contender in ASOTYM being one of the latest craze in 07's end. In a seamless progression Maor Levi - Shapes [Oliver Smith Remix], Super8 & Tab - Suru are played and then the melodic outburst of the amazing Cape Town - Metaphorique [Ferry Tayle Neverending Story Mix] is played, this tune is probably an underrated tune of 2007. Next to root from the beats is Maor Levi - Reflect which sets a suiting outro for "Metaphorique". The breakdown of Vincent De Moor - Fly Away [Cosmic Gate Remix] is pieced out from "Reflect", and is elongated to the breakdown of Mike Foyle - Firefly. When top breakdowns are rooted you get pure ecstasy! And tunes like Evbointh - One Wish [Daniel Kandi & Mark Andrez Remix], Deadmau5 - Arguru, Yanou featuring Liz - King Of My Castle [Sander Van Doorn Vocal Mix], different genres get amalgamated here and break into Nic Chagall - What You Need [Nic Chagall's Hard Dub], Armin has conceptualized the mixing of breakdowns and showcased how finely moments of playback of these tunes can create an impact on us. To change a mood, the male vocal trancer Filo & Peri featuring Eric Lumiere - Anthem comes in and taken away by the beautiful dropout tune of Purple Mood - One Night In Tokyo [DJ Shah's Savannah Remix]. Marked by Breakfast - The Horizon, Aruna's voice is sampled in between in The Thrillseekers featuring Aruna - Waiting Here For You on a seemingly higher BPM. The ecstasy further witnesses beauties like Markus Schulz vs. Andy Moor - Daydream, Marc Marberg with Kyau & Albert - Megashira, Shawn Mitiska & Jaren - Silently [Topher Jones Remix]. The vocals of Cosmic Gate featuring Denise Rivera - Body Of Conflict is lifted from "Silently" mend in a stealthy technique, actually! Breakfast - The Sunlight and Albert Vorne - Formentera What [Gareth Emery Remix] complete the impressive CD-1 as we switch on to CD-2.

After Michael Dow - Ascent, the bass-grinding Armin van Buuren - Rush Hour surfaces, the vocals of Kyau & Albert - Always A Fool fade up behind "Rush Hour's" bassline that later set off in Above & Beyond - Home [Above & Beyond Club Mix]. The next biggie John O'callaghan featuring Audrey Gallagher - Big Sky [Agnelli & Nelson Remix] is blown up by Armin, by this time the speakers seem intact and in other cases they might get jacked, so to stablize this euphoric fury, one might need real good sub-woofers. Above & Beyond present Tranquility Base - Oceanic affirms why ASOTYM showcases best of the best tunes in the rapid mixing session. More work lie ahead for your speakers as tunes like Sean Tyas presents Logistic - One More Night Out, Simon Patterson - Bulldozer, W&W - Mustang, Bedrock - Heaven Scent [Greg Downey Remix] get blasted with a ripped up aftermath and till you think the sounds have become elusive, you hear Above & Beyond presents Tranquility Base - Buzz, that just won't let you and your speakers rest. Piano and vocals change the mood in Dogzilla - Frozen to a darker one in Markus Schulz - Fly To Colors [DJ Genix Remix] with excessive practicing of dark pads. Melody strikes big and beautiful with Duderstadt and Anita Kelsey - Smile [Duende Dub Mix]. Conrad S. - Apologies takes over the music to the trippy vocal breakdown of Way Out West - The Fall [Richard Durand Remix]. Another brilliant stance of overlapping can be heard in DJ Shah featuring Adrina Thorpe - Who Will Find Me where Armin replaces the tune of "Who Will Find Me" with Peter Martijn Wijnia presents Majesta - Not The End, makes me wish it was solely mixed to craft an anthem trancer. Anthemic or uplifting Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Saved Again [3rd Moon Dub Mix] is always there to change the genre to fast progressive. CD-2 comparitevly has more energetic side to it than CD-1 because Aly & Fila are nicked in FKN featuring Jahala - Why [Aly & Fila Remix] and Deems - Tears Of Hope [Aly & Fila Remix]. By now my speakers seem exhausted just that I don't witness any smoke coming out! Ears give up on the energetic loud bass but how can one turn away when choons like Bissen - Quicksand [Joint Operations Centre Remix], Meck featuring Dino - Feels Like Home [Marco V Remix], Cold Blue & Del Mar - 11 Days [Sebastian Brandt Rework] are played, some massive additions to the chaotic listening experience! ASOTYM gets progressive and progressive with Dave 202 - Louvre and M6 - Destination 6, something to look forward to with Jahala's vox hitting right after in Aly & Fila vs. Fkn featuring Jahala - How Long?, Armin van Buuren vs. Rank 1 featuring Kush - This World Is Watching Me [Cosmic Gate Remix], this long titled tech beauty coheres with Tiësto featuring Christian Burns - In The Dark [Trance Version], the pinpoint is lost somewhere in the ongoing listening experience. It always makes me wonder how easy or difficult it is to mix tech after progressive or any other genre . Armin knows for sure and we very well notice it with 4 Strings - Catch A Fall, yet another massive breakdown ridden tune thrown on the listeners. Nenes & Pascal Feliz - Platinum [Tech Mix] makes it tech to progressive in Onova - Platitude! And just when we think we have had enough of tech and progressive in the mix, Ronski Speed featuring Sir Adrian - The Perspective Space is probably the first featured mashup in the CD. Then my favourite pile of tunes comes in with JOC, The Doppler Effect - Beauty Hides In The Deep [John O'Callaghan Remix] and Talla 2Xlc featuring Naama Hillman - No In Between [John O'Callaghan Remix] stay untraceable by what Armin has done to the breakdowns in both tracks, edited them or cut short, I could rarely make out, but the music sounds maddening for sure! And even before the CD-2 ends we get hit again by the massive breakdown of Lost Witness vs. Sassot - Whatever [Aly & Fila Remix]. My personal interpretation would say - that to end the ASOTYM 2K7 experience and foretell what '08 holds for Trance, Armin does a deadly mashup of Mojado - Kaktus and Sander Van Doorn - Riff, teched up killers! Hard to explain, please witness it yourselves!

Armin closes the exhausting listening experience with Outro - Back To Where The Skyline Awaits You. The featured tunes are the highlights of his ASOT radio show and he has started a cult of rapid mixing. People, who always get awed by Armin, know who unarguably the mixes best on the decks, on the earth!
