Official DJ Mag Rankings on 25th October.

It's that time of the year again when all the DJs are eagerly waiting for those numbers to come out. DJ MAG ranking is said to be the most sought after and respected DJ rankings all over the world. With more than 345,000 votes this year it will be extremely interesting to see who the NUMBER ONE DJ of the year 2007 is. Will it be the same Paul van Dyk or will Tiësto replace him once again from the top position, or else could it be Armin van Buuren, lets wait and watch.

This year like always there will be a big party on the 24th of October at Seone, London which will have an envious attendance list of media personnels from all over the world waiting to get that exclusive interview with the new world number one. The party will also include a live set from the New RANK ONE artist of the year, also from other big artists like Sandar Van Doorn, Infected Mushroom, David Guetta, Anderson Noise and many more. This is one party you cannot afford to miss.

Going down the history lane, the first Top 100 DJs Poll opened to public voting in 1997. At that time only 700 people voted and since then there was no looking back. There was a definite amplification of votes. In 2001 Votes came in from 50 countries. Over 500 DJs were nominated, and the top 25 acquired almost 60% of the vote. In 2003 there were 61,529 votes, up 50% on 2002's total. Votes were received from 120 countries around the world. So 2007, the tenth year of DJ rankings have again set a new record with more than 3,45,000 votes, while last year 2,17,000 people voted for the same.
