Entities like Tiësto don't need biographies and updates to prove their mettle. He is one popular EDM pioneer who needs no introduction to most of us.

All these years the Trance music scene has been influenced by one name, Tijs Werwest AKA Tiësto. The driving force of electronic dance music, especially Trance. He hit off his star career in 1995 when he started producing electronic music. Since then his career has been uplifting and progressive just like his tunes. Though, it is still a mystery what drove Tiësto to EDM whose first musical love was heavy metal! After collaborating some great tracks with Ferry Corsten under their Gouryella alias, Tiësto planned to have his own record label 'Blackhole Recordings' since he wanted to produce music under his own label. Now Blackhole has numerous sub-labels to assign other artists' productions. Tiësto has enjoyed collaborating with Junkie XL and BT to the most and has signed some dreamy vocalists like Sarah Mchlahan, Jes Breiden and Julie Thompson. This man has done it all.

Production manager Nick McGeachin was responsible for finding Tiësto's talent and put him before the global audiences. Tiësto's ever-growing passion is to travel across the globe and connect to massive crowds through his firing DJ console. He holds the record of swaying 2 million people on their feet in the 2004 Athens Olympics. He specially crafted an album for the biggest sports event subtitled 'Parade Of The Athletes'.

Not many DJs are capable of handling a crowd of over 20,000 for more than 6 hours set. But Tiësto does it, his fame helps him to magnet an enormous crowd, no matter wherever he is, he ignites the dance floor with his spinning techniques. His success as a DJ is so big that performing for a minimal crowd is no big game for him and he would rarely play at clubs. His sets contain a mix of tracks that are responsible for big mood swings that can thrust your feet on the dance floor, a complete EDM package that takes one through emotional, euphoric and dancedelic voyage!

Going through the way of his albums from 'Summerbreeze' to 'Elements of Life', there has been elevating transformations in his productions, a reason Tiësto is accountable for taking Trance music to another level. He is also behind Trance's most anticipated annual mix-compilation, 'In Search Of Sunrise', the first three installments were massive hit until 6th one came to save the grace of the 4th and 5th installments. It is a matter of pride for the upcoming EDM artists to be featured on his ISOS compilations because it sees more than 5,00,000 copies sold worldwide.

Regardless of his super-star image and a huge fan base following his electronic cults, Tiësto is one level headed man. Seen in simple attires and concentrating more on his music and performances is what holds his charm, check out a few of his gig videos, what you will witness is a large amount of beauties swooning for the man! Tiësto's biggest inspiration to trotter the globe? Who knows... but this man is successful enough to connect to each audience via his unique melodies. Tiësto firmly believes in mixing tracks without a laptop that most of the DJs are doing. Carrying forward conventional DJing techniques Tiësto sets off a benchmark for all the budding DJs who play EDM. His gigs are massive and his 3 monstrous tour gear trucks follow him across Europe. His gigs are known to have amazing visuals to entertain big crowds! He is also an ambassador of 'Dance 4life' and is promoting the goodwill for AIDS. This is very noticeable in his 'Elements of Life' tour, he also did a massive show in Sensation White '06, just for the cause of AIDS. A music man who is also actively indulging into his social responsibilities!

A lot has been happening in Tiësto's rocketing career, he introduced a weekly radio show 'Tiësto's Club Life' on Dutch radio station Radio 538 and XM Satellite Radio in the United States and globally. Tiësto says "With 'Club Life' I can reach a worldwide audience on a weekly basis. For me it's a way to experiment with the variety of styles which dance music has to offer". A great aspect of this radio show is that upcoming producers get highlighted in the show in a section called '15 Minutes Of Fame'. This is great for bringing up the hidden talents in the EDM industry. So what else is up in his career? We have heard that Tiësto is also trying his hand at becoming a restaurateur. Food with EDM, a complete club package and what a tempting combination to have a thrilling time! All the best to him for his new ventures!
